Chase Pipes is a Sevierville, Tennessee, entrepreneur who focuses on the acquisition and sale of quality gems, minerals, fossils, and meteorites. As head of the Smoky Mountain Relic Room at Smoky Mountain Knife Works, Chase Pipes engages closely with visitors who may understand how affordable it can be to hold a genuine piece of history.
Mr. Pipes also has an extensive collection of historical artifacts, and maintains a fully equipped restoration shop. After taking the time and effort to establish whether items are genuine through his personal knowledge and network of experts, he painstakingly restores items to museum-quality condition.
As a way of showcasing his creations, Mr. Pipes has created a unique product line called Chasing History, which presents pieces in attractive frames, with write-ups included about each item. Among the artifacts sold this way are meteorites and Civil War bullets. Mr. Pipes also takes viewers on a trip to view the provenance of many items through his YouTube channel “Chasing History.”Experiences
